If you are a customer who messaged a business
Your conversation belongs to the business you messaged — they hold it, and they can delete it. Two things you can do yourself:
- Reply STOP on WhatsApp to stop all automated messages from that business immediately. It takes effect at once and needs no approval.
- Ask the business to delete your conversation and contact record. They can do it from their inbox, and it is permanent.
If you cannot reach them, write to digitoria.ajmer@gmail.com from a contactable address, tell us the WhatsApp number you messaged from and which business it was, and we will pass the request on and confirm once it is done.
If you are a business using DigiTick
Inside the app you can delete data at any time:
- One conversation — open the chat, three-dots menu, Clear chat.
- One contact — Contacts, then remove the contact.
- A team member — Team, then Remove. Their login stops working immediately.
To delete the entire account, email digitoria.ajmer@gmail.com from the owner's registered address with the subject “Delete my DigiTick account”. We verify that the request is from the owner and then delete it.
What gets deleted
Deleting an account removes, permanently and together:
- Every conversation and message, including media references
- Every contact, tag, note and custom field
- All staff logins and their roles
- Sign-in records and notification subscriptions
- Templates, bots, flows, broadcasts and billing records
- The stored WhatsApp connection credentials
Deletion is not reversible and there is no archive copy. We complete it within 30 days of verifying the request, usually within a few working days.
What we cannot delete
Messages also exist on Meta's systems and on the phones of everyone in the conversation. Deleting from DigiTick does not remove them from WhatsApp itself — for that, see WhatsApp's own help centre. We may also keep the minimum record of a paid invoice that Indian tax law requires.
